Hi!

My name is Laura, and I'm a 20 year old student who enjoys blogging about Asian cosmetics. I first became interested in Asian cosmetics while looking up BB creams- at first everything was super confusing, but reading reviews helped a lot. I got my first small haul of Lioele products for Christmas in 2012, and I've been addicted ever since.

I've always enjoyed writing, and found that review focused blogs were extremely helpful to me in my search for products. I also really love to help people... so I decided to combine some of the stuff I enjoy to make my own blog! My primary purpose in maintaining the blog is to help others, either by saving them money from bad products or guiding them in a good direction for good ones.

From about age 12 until 18, I had really terrible skin. It made me self conscious and I never felt pretty. As I've gotten into skincare, my skin has improved dramatically. I get maybe 2 or 3 pimples a month, and my hyperpigmentation has been fading rapidly thanks to some research and trial and error. I try to sprinkle some more Science-focused skincare posts throughout all the reviews, in the hopes that others can better understand what actually works and what's pure marketing.
